Boy, 16, Dies After Being Shot in Front of Suburban South Jersey Home

1 boy dies, 1 hurt, 1 not injured in shooting outside teen's Willingboro home

Someone opened fire on a group of teenage boys Monday night. The shooting left Ibn Perry, 16, dead in front of his Willingboro home.

Willingboro officers found Perry and another 16-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds after being dispatched to a residence on Plumtree Lane around 8 p.m. Monday following reports of shots fired in the area.

Perry -- who lived in the home -- died at the scene. The second victim -- who wasn't identified -- was rushed to Lourdes Medical Center in Burlington County by emergency medical personnel for a gunshot wound to his ankle. A third teen wasn't shot, said Burlington County Prosecutors.

County investigators said it appeared the gunfire came from across the street.

No arrests were immediately made as investigators tried to find out what led up to the shooting.

Investigators asked anyone with information to call Willingboro Township police at 609-877-6958 or Burlington County detectives at 609-265-7113.
