Where CHOP Ranks Among Top U.S. Children's Hospitals

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, once again, is the second best pediatric medical center in the country, according to the U.S. News & World report rankings released Tuesday morning.

CHOP for the second consecutive year was topped only by Boston Children’s Hospital in the report.

Three years ago, the two pediatric medical center’s tied for first place.

The U.S. News & World Report 2016-17 study evaluated 106 children’s hospitals around the country in 10 pediatric specialties such as cancer care and heart surgery. The study, now in its 10th year, ranks the top 50 in each category. Overall, 78 hospitals were ranked in at least one category.
