Daughter Finds Murdered Father

Westville, N.J. police are investigating the death of 54-year-old Thomas Carbin who was found dead by his daughter Monday afternoon.

"I just went over after school and I found him," said a distraught Christina Carbin.

Her father's black 2006 Chevrolet Colorado pickup was discovered later that day outside the gate of Ironworker’s Local 399 union hall on Crown Point Road in Westville. Carbin, who lived alone, was an ironworker.

He was last seen alive by a friend who came to his apartment around 8 p.m. on Sunday.

Police are investigating the cause and manner of his death.

Christina hopes that someone will come forward who knows what happened.

"Please come tell us, we need to know who did this... it will put it to rest."
