Neighborhood Dispute Anything But Neighborly as Gunfire Rings Out in West Oak Lane

A neighborhood dispute escalated into gunfire in Philadelphia overnight leaving one person grazed by a bullet.

Gunfire rang out around 11 p.m. Thursday along Thouron Avenue near Washington Lane in the West Oak Lane neighborhood.

A victim wound up with a graze wound, said Philadelphia Police.

It wasn’t clear if the victim was involved in the dispute. Investigators recovered two weapons and were looking for two more, said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small.

Investigators blocked off the block and marked dozen of pieces of evidence in the street. They didn't reveal the nature of the initial dispute.

No word yet on arrests or charges.
