Caught on Camera: Well-Dressed Man Swipes Cigarettes From Philadelphia Wawa

A man waited for a Wawa employee to turn around before swiping cartons of cigarettes from a Northeast Philadelphia store.

The caught-on-camera incident played out around 6:30 a.m. on March, 29 at the Wawa at 9307 Krewstown Road in the city’s Bustleton section.

A man wearing a gray Jeff cap, dark blazer, button-downed shirt and ripped blue jeans can be seen asking for items from the employee -- at one point the man even takes out his wallet, appearing ready to pay.

But, as the employee turns his back to grab something else behind the counter, the man can be seen grabbing the cigarette cartons, pausing a moment and then walking out of the store.

Police hoped someone would recognize the man seen on video. If you have an information please call Northeast Detectives at 215-686-3153/54.
