Trio Swipes $7K in Cigarettes From Wawa Delivery Truck

Philadelphia Police released surveillance video of three men who they say stole roughly $7,000 in cigarettes from a Wawa delivery truck that was parked outside the Center City convenience store.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports police released video of the suspects on Tuesday, nearly a month after the Aug. 17 theft outside the Wawa at Broad and Walnut streets.

Police say the delivery truck driver returned to his truck around 9:30 p.m. and discovered three cases of cigarettes had disappeared.

The suspects were seen operating a silver sedan and a light-colored work van.

Investigators asked anyone with information or who recognizes the thieves to contact Philadelphia Police.
