Crews are on the scene of yet another water main break in Philadelphia. The break is at Ridge and Manayunk Avenues in Manayunk. It was reported just before 7 a.m. Thursday.
There have been several water main breaks in the city over the past two weeks.
On July 23, a 48-inch water main broke, causing a giant sinkhole at 21st and Bainbridge in South Philadelphia. On July 29, a 24-inch main broke at Willits and Ashton Roads in Northeast Philadelphia.
And on August 1, a 48-inch water main broke at Front and Tioga Streets in North Philadelphia. On August 5, a 12-inch main broke at Frankford Avenue and East Pike Street in Frankford.
