Wakes to Be Held for Pathmark Shooting Victims

The gunman, 23-year-old Terence Tyler, killed himself with an automatic handgun

Family and friends are gathering Tuesday to remember the victims slain in a shooting rampage at a supermarket in New Jersey last week.

Wakes for Bryan Breen, 24, and Cristina LoBrutto, 18, will respectively be held Tuesday at the Old Bridge Funeral Home and the Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, both in Old Bridge.

A funeral for Breen will be held Wednesday. LoBrutto will be laid to rest Thursday following a funeral service at St. Ambrose Church.

Breen and LoBrutto were killed Friday morning when police say one of their co-workers at the Pathmark in Old Bridge apparently snapped and opened fire with an AK-47.

The gunman, 23-year-old Terence Tyler, killed himself with an automatic handgun. The three had been working the overnight shift along with a dozen or so other employees when Tyler apparently got into an argument with someone, walked out to his car and returned with the weapons.

It's still not clear what sparked the shootings. Authorities are investigating his motive, but family members said Tyler -- who once tweeted about killing "everyone I see" -- was discharged from the Marines two years ago after suffering from depression and had never gotten over his mother's death about five years ago.

Authorities say Tyler had worked at the store for less than two weeks.
