Vandals Target Jewish Cemetery

Police in Egg Harbor Township, NJ are investigating an act of vandalism at a Jewish cemetery. It happened last Sunday around 8:30 a.m. at the Rodef Shalom Cemetery in the Cardiff Section of the town.

Police say the suspects knocked over about 15 gravestones.

Groundskeeper Dennis Kraus does not think this incident was a hate crime. He believes the vandals were there to drink and do drugs.

Those responsible for the vandalism caused around $5,000 in damage to the 115-year-old cemetery.
