Caught on Cam: Stabbing Outside U-Haul

Police hope someone recognizes man investigators say stabbed another man repeatedly

Philadelphia Police released surveillance video Friday of a man who they say stabbed another man outside a Northeast Philadelphia U-Haul location earlier this month.

Cops hope that someone recognizes the suspect caught on camera.

The incident happened March 2 on the 7700 block of Roosevelt Boulevard, according to police.

Investigators say two men got in an argument inside the store. As the suspect walked outside the argument escalated into a brawl and one man took out a knife, police said.

The man, described as a black male, 6-feet-3, with an African accent, stabbed the victim repeatedly in the head, police said.

The suspect fled the scene in a tan or gold sedan -- possibly a Honda Accord or Toyota Camry.
