Derrick Carter, 33, was brought into the Lower Merion Police Station on Thursday. He's charged with two dozen home burglaries in Delaware and Montgomery counties in Pa. and New Castle County, Del.
Police sources tell NBC10's Deanna Durante that Carter will also be charged with an assault on police.
At the end of November, Carter led police on a high-speed chase that ended with his arrest in Northeast Philadelphia.
Investigators have also identified two accomplices in this case and those men are in jail.
