Woman Beaten Outside Trenton Police Station

Police, woman say beating that left victim with a fractured eye socket and concussion stemmed from an ongoing dispute

Police in New Jersey's capital are looking for four people accused of beating a woman on the lawn outside Trenton's police headquarters.

Police say three women and one male followed Alfreda Williams after she drove up to the police station on Saturday afternoon.

Williams told The Times of Trenton she was punched in the head, had her arm closed in a car door and was kicked in the face. It all took place in front of her 9-year-old son.

Police found the 49-year-old Ewing resident with a fractured eye socket and a concussion.

Police and Williams say the assault stemmed from an ongoing dispute.

β€œI just don’t think I deserve for people to come out and stomp me in the middle of the police department,” Williams told the Times.

Police have not released the names of the suspects.
