With gas prices quickly soaring, everyone is scrambling for ways to save. Whether the pumps hit $4 a gallon or not, there are tips, sites and tools to help everyone with their gas budget.

There is even an app for that.

But, small changes such as keeping your tires inflated, emptying your trunk and regular maintenance checks are easy ways to ensure you're getting the most out of your tank.

Those looking to invest in a bigger change can benefit from the Toyota Prius, Nissan Leaf or Chevy Volt. All three models use electricity and average much higher mileage than your strictly gas-powered car.
