Pennsylvania Trampoline Park Apologizes for Worker Telling Mom to Stop Breastfeeding

A western Pennsylvania trampoline park says it has fired a worker who told a woman to stop breastfeeding her son.

Officials at Flight Trampoline Park in Bridgeville tell KDKA-TV that they're apologizing and hope to schedule a charity event soon to benefit a local breastfeeding advocacy group.

The park released the statement on Facebook and said the incident occurred the day before. [[375853951, C]]

"Our culture is to support families in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment. The behavior and insensitivity exhibited by one of our employees (who no longer is part of our staff) will never be tolerated."

The woman who was breastfeeding her son sparked the controversy when she posted on Facebook saying two male employees asked her to move to a private room while breastfeeding. Pennsylvania law doesn't permit people to ask breastfeeding women to move, leave or cover up.
