    16-Year-old in Critical Condition After Puzzling Plunge

    An Upper Moreland teen is in critical condition Thursday after police say he plunged off the third floor of a parking garage at the Willow Grove Mall in Montgomery County.

    According to investigators, the 16-year-old boy was with three friends at the mall Wednesday night around 8:30 when he began acting erratically. Friends tell police that he may have been hallucinating when he suddenly jumped out of the car and ran off the edge.

    The mall at Easton Road near Welsh Road was open at the time of the incident.

    Witnesses say they the unidentified boy was conscious when he was rushed to Abington Memorial Hospital.

    Abington police are investigating the puzzling plunge.
