Bus Driver at Fault for I-76 Accident: Police

State Police say the bus rear-ended a car which caused a chain reaction, involving a second and third car

Pennsylvania State Police say the driver of a tour bus is to blame for an accident that slowed traffic early this morning on Interstate 76 westbound near Conshohocken.

The accident happened just before 9:00 a.m. and closed the highway for about 15 minutes.

Police tell NBC10 that traffic ahead of the bus stopped, but the driver wasn't able to slow down fast enough and rear-ended the car. The accident caused a chain reaction, with that car then hitting two other cars, according to authorities.

The bus had 30 passengers on board and no one was hurt. One of the passengers inside the car that was rear-ended was injured and taken to Taylor Hospital.
