Three Teens Stabbed in Melee at Church Fair: Police

Authorities say three people were stabbed during a melee involving groups of teenagers at a fair in a suburban Philadelphia church parking lot.

Police in Tullytown shut down the Saint Michael's Fair early Thursday night and took four people into custody following several fights involving what police called a "large unruly group of teenagers.''

Officers from around the lower end of the county worked the scene near the entrances of the Levittown Walmart. Nearby, Levittown Parkway was blocked due to police cars and officers who milled about near the entrance of the fair, a multi-day tradition in the area, reported LevittownNow.com

LevittownNow.com reported that one young man was seen being loaded into an ambulance from Bensalem that left the scene outside Walmart with lights blazing.

Authorities didn't immediately identify those who were taken into custody. It's unclear what the conditions of the victims are.

The Bucks County Courier Times reported the St. Michael's Fair is scheduled to run through July 10 in the parking lot of the Catholic church.
