State Police are searching for the individuals responsible for extensive damage to the PennDOT yard in Hunting Park.
Pennsylvania State Troopers were called to the yard overnight Tuesday after the PennDOT midnight crew discovered the damages.
Troopers believe that a group of juveniles hopped the fence to the PennDOT yard sometime between 4 p.m. and midnight Monday. It appears that the vandals found a truck, with the keys inside, jumped in and crashed the vehicle into a brick wall, two parked trucks and a steel security door.
The damage is estimated at about $50K.
An investigation is ongoing.
