Teen Hurt in Fall From School Roof in Delaware

The Delaware State Police says troopers are investigating after a 15-year-old fell off the roof of a school in Wilmington and was injured.

State Police say they were called to the Mt. Pleasant Elementary School around 3:00 p.m. Saturday for a report of an injured person. When they arrived, they learned that three male juveniles had climbed on to the roof of the school, which was approximately 15 feet high.

State Police say the teen who fell from the roof was taken by helicopter to a hospital and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

State Police say the incident remains under investigation but no charges are expected to be filed. The two other juveniles on the roof were also 15.
