Police in Wilmington say they're investigating the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old.
Police say they were called to the 2800 block of N. Tatnall Street on Friday around 9:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting. Police say they found the male teenager with gunshot wounds to the chest. The teen was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police identified the victim Saturday as Shyheim Buford of Wilmington.
Police did not have any information about a potential suspect or suspects.
