Man Exchanges Tattoo for Sex With 15-Year-Old: Cops

Man had sex with girl after promising to give her a tattoo, police say

Bristol Township Police arrested a 34-year-old Falls Township man after he allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old girl many times, promising the young teen a tattoo in exchange.

Walter Meyerle, of the 900 block of E Penn Valley Road in Morrisville, Pa., was arrested on charges of felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and other charges.

But Meyerle strongly maintains his innocence.

"There are a lot of serious charges and it's pretty serious but there's nothing to back it up,” Meyerle told NBC Philadelphia after his arraignment. “We'll see who's guilty."

Meyerle allegedly had sexual intercourse four times with the teen girl he met through family and friends over the course of almost a year, police say.

On multiple occasions, Meyerle had sex with the girl while his wife was upstairs asleep in their home, according to police.

Before Meyerle had sex with the girl for the first time, he promised her he would give her a tattoo she wanted if she “did stuff” with him, police say.

Meyerle also engaged in phone sex with the girl about 50 times, police say. Meyerle would ask the girl to let him listen while she masturbated.

When Meyerle drew the requested tattoo of a star on the girl’s front pelvic area, he incorporated a “W,” police say.

"I don't believe he should ever see the light of day if we can help it," said Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler.

Authorities say they believe that Meyerle has also had sexual contact with other young male and female victims.

When asked about the charges he faces Meyerle said, “They're crazy they are sick and I hurt people who do stuff like this.”

Meyerle is being held on $1-million bail.
