After much public controversy over his firing, Anthony "AJ" Maida, former head wrestling coach for Methacton High School, was reinstated today, according to school district officials.

"It is a matter of personnel,” said Zerbe. “But, the bottom line is I was able to make a decisions after reviewing additional information.”

Zerbe said he was happy with the decision.

“I have decided this was the correct action, based on what information I had,” said Zerbe.

Zerbe said that a planned meeting for May 6 regarding Transportation should be advertised later this week. During that meeting, he will make an official public statement regarding Maida.

Wrestling parents first broke the news to LP TAP via our Facebook page. The information was announced at a 9 a.m. meeting today with parents and players. Zerbe told the parents in person of the decision.
