Pennsylvania River Possibly Swept Homeless Man to Death: Coroner

A coroner says a homeless man may have been asleep when he was swept to his death in a river in Pennsylvania.

Authorities in Williamsport found George Hoover wrapped in a tent along the banks of the Susquehanna River on Sunday.

Lycoming County's coroner says Hoover may have been unaware that the river was rising.

There is no evidence of foul play and the investigation continues. [[238427591, C]]
