Suspicious Men in Vans Spotted Near School

Police say there have been two separate incidents in the past week

Radnor Township Police are investigating two reports of suspicious men, spotted near an elementary school in Wayne, Pa.

At a news conference tonight, investigators put people in the area on alert.

Police say the first man was spotted on Monday around 10:00 a.m. parked near St. Katherine of Sienna School on Aberdeen Avenue. A student alerted school officials after seeing a man in a white van parked close to the school parking lot. The van had a large dent on the passenger side of the van and steel bars on the rear windows.

Another suspicious man was spotted at 8:30 a.m. this morning near the same school. A student told authorities the man was wearing a ski mask and watching children in the school yard. Police say that man was in a light blue-colored van.

Anyone with information is asked to call Radnor Police at 610-688-0503.
