Suspects Attack and Stab Man at New Castle Bar

A man was allegedly attacked and stabbed outside of a New Castle Bar on Friday night around 11 p.m. 

The 42-year-old man was smoking a cigarette outside of the Kum on Inn Bar on the 200 block of Christiana Road, after reportedly being in an intense argument with several individuals inside.

The victim was then approached from behind and stabbed on the right side by an unknown suspect, according to police.

Investigators then say that the man fell to the ground where he was punched and kicked by several male suspects who then fled the area.

The victim did not report the incident to police until Saturday, Nov. 20. He was taken to Christiana Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.

Police say that the suspects are a mixture of five to six black and white males. They have no further description.
