Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video of a man they're calling a person of interest in the horrific murder of Sabina Rose O'Donnell.
O'Donnell was walking into her apartment building along N. 4th Street around 2:30 a.m. on June 2 when she was grabbed and dragged into a nearby vacant lot, police say.
The beloved 20-year-old was brutally beaten, sexually assaulted and then murdered, police say. She was found in the morning by a neighbor.
Several surveillance cameras captured the man, who's described as a black male with a medium build and medium height, riding a bike in the area of the crime scene before the attack.
In another shot, the person of interest could be seen following O'Donnell as she rode a bike towards her apartment.
While investigators have not called the unidentified man a suspect, they have titled him as a predator. Police also say the shirt the man is seen wearing in the videos -- a white tank top -- matches one found at the scene of the crime.
A large amount of DNA evidence was also found at the scene, police say.
Investigators are hoping someone may recognize the man and call authorities.
There is a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call the Crime Commission Tipline at 215.546.8477 (TIPS).
