Surprise, Surprise, Philly's Rude: Travel + Leisure

Tell us something we don’t know.

Philadelphia – a city known for many things – cheesesteaks, hoagies, Michael Vick, the Phillies, can now add one more thing to the list – our attitudes.

Yup, that’s right, Philadelphians are rude, according to Travel + Leisure. In fact, we’re the third rudest city in the entire country, topped only by New York and Los Angeles.

Travel + Leisure surveyed readers for its annual “America’s Favorite Cities” feature and asked them to rate 35 cities on different topics like restaurants, shopping, nightlife, romance potential and, of course, least friendly locals.

Miami came in right behind Philly, with Washington, D.C. rounding out the top five.

So much for the City of Brotherly Love.
