South Jersey Officers Turn Stolen Toys Into Happy Holidays for Families

A police department in South Jersey was able to flip the bad deeds of criminals into providing a happy holiday season for less fortunate families.

The Gloucester Township Police Department donated seven portable DVD players, two large Star Wars Lego kits and a Lone Ranger Lego kit to the town’s annual "Toys for Tots" campaign.

The electronics and brand new toys were recovered by Gloucester Township officers during various criminal investigations.

The owners of the property were never identified after many attempts, so the items were donated to go to needy families.

If you would like to donate a toy to the toy drive, you can drop it of at the Mayor’s Office Monday through Thursday by December 21.
