Go4theGoal Unveils $350K Infusion Therapy Center Renovation at St. Christopher's Hospital

A $350,000 renovation project to provide new space for the oncology infusion therapy clinic at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children was unveiled at the North Philadelphia medical center on Monday.

The work began after Pepperidge Farm awarded a $30,000 grant to Go4theGoal, a South Jersey pediatric cancer organization, to remodel the play area in the Oncology Infusion Clinic at St. Christopher’s. Go4theGoal’s leadership decided it wasn’t enough to renovate only the play area, and decided to fund an effort to renovate the entire unit.

“Families spend so much time at the hospital during their child’s diagnosis and treatment,” said Beth Stefanacci, executive director of Go4theGoal. “They deserve a positive and comfortable setting to make their journey less stressful.”
