Men Arrested in S Philly Tire Slashings

Six cars in South Philly are vandalized, cops say

Philadelphia Police arrested two men over the weekend after another incident of car vandalism in the city.

Tires on at least six cars were slashed Sunday along the 1600 block of S 10th Street in South Philly, according to police.

Eugene Aversa, 21, and Julien Ortiz, 21, were both arrested, police said.

It was unclear how they were apprehended.

Aversa and Ortiz were charged early Monday with criminal mischief, conspiracy and possessing an instrument of crime, according to court records.
