Soccer Coach Has Sex With 2 Players

A former assistant soccer coach at a central Pennsylvania high school has pleaded guilty to having romantic and sexual relationships with two players, and will serve at least 60 days in the county jail followed by two years' probation.

The Altoona Mirror reports 25-year-old Kyla Hollingshead pleaded guilty Monday to charges of institutional sexual assault and corruption of minors.

The Altoona woman resigned in February from Altoona Area High School, where she was hired in August 2010.

Prosecutors say she began the first relationship with a 15-year-old player in October 2010 and a second relationship with a 16-year-old player in October 2012.

Police say Hollingshead gave that girl a "promise ring," threatened suicide if the relationship ended, and sent  a Valentine's Day card proclaiming the girl was the love of her life.
