The heaviest snowfall period of this storm came during the afternoon Wednesday and was expected to last several hours, ending in areas west of the city first. The Blizzard of 2010 would stick around longest at the Jersey Shore -- possibly until midnight.
Three major highways shut down at 2 p.m. -- 76, 746 and 676.
Philadelphia public and parochial schools will be closed again Thursday. And, SEPTA will suspend all bus service at 5p.m. Train and trolley riders should also be prepared for delays and cancellations.
Emergency crews told NBC10's Lu Ann Cahn that 14 people have been rushed to the hospital after suffering cardiac arrests, which she said could indicate people are overdoing it, trying to shovel heavy, heavy snow.
It's a given that we'll set a new record for the most snowfall in a season -- more than 65.5 inches -- when the National Weather Service put out its 1 p.m. totals, that put us within one half inch of the record.
Delaware has travel restrictions again -- only emergency and essential service personnel are allowed on the roads.
Some folks have lost power, including Governor Jack Markell.
Ground Zero -- Bucks County -- is under a state of emergency.
Wind is a bigger issue at the shore than many other places.

And if you're one of those ticked off workers who felt like you had to go into the office today or else, Mayor Michael Nutter has a few words for your boss:
"Think about the safety of your employees," he said. The commute home is expected to be much worse than the ride in.
Close to 1,000 schools closed, including all Philadelphia public and parochial schools and all commercial flights were canceled at Philadelphia International Airport until 2 p.m.
