Have You Seen the Man Who Attacked a Philly Cop?

Philadelphia Police have released a detailed sketch of the man they believe beat and threatened to kill an off-duty Philly homicide detective on the Ben Franklin Bridge Tuesday.

The woman was jogging along the bridge's elevated walking path and had just reached the Camden side when a man on a bike stopped her.

The man pulled a gun, pistol-whipped the woman and threatened to kill her if she didn’t cooperate, police said.

He then ripped a chain from the woman's neck and threw her cell phone off the bridge before fleeing.

The attacker is described as 25-30 year-old white or Hispanic man, believed to be 5'5" to 5'7" tall with a stocky build and brown curly hair.

He was riding a 26-28 inch powder blue racing bike. Investigators are asking anyone with information to call Philadelphia Police.
