Six Local Pooches Need Your Help

It's time to get your woof on!  Celebrating its 100th anniversary, Milk-Bones is searching the nation for their very first ever spokesdog.

Many owners have been videotaping and submitting photos of their furry friends, hoping to be chosen, and six local dogs are in the running to become Milk-Bone’s national spokesdog for 2009.  They were selected from thousands of finalists and made it into the top 100 picks in the nation.

Those lucky canines from the Philadelphia region are Jack from Coatesville, Skip from Fairless Hills, Honey from Gilbertsville, Chewbacca in Bethlehem, Bazil from Whitehall, and Blackberry from Mullica Hill, N.J.

The power is in your hands.  You can choose who should be a star!  Just visit Milk-Bone's web site where you can vote once per day until November 18 for your choice.

The winner will be announced in January and will win a $100,000 contract to serve as the Milk-Bone Spokesdog for 2009 and be pictured on the Milk-Bone box.
