Officials say they have recovered the body of a boater who fell into a lake at a Pennsylvania state park.
The Bedford County Coroner says the unidentified man drowned after falling in Shawnee Lake.
A Bedford County dispatcher says the man was one of two in a kayak that flipped over Monday afternoon. Witnesses say four people tried to help after hearing the man's screams, but they were unable to find him. [[238427591, C]]
The Pennsylvania State Police, a Maryland State Police helicopter and local dive teams assisted in the search, which took several hours. The man was pronounced dead at 8:30 p.m.
Police say the man's death is still under investigation.
