Sex Assault Charges Against Pa. Man Dropped

Kahlil Hopkins was acquitted after the victim wouldn't answer questions during trial, according to his attorney

Kahlil Hopkins, of Darby Township, has been acquitted of sexual assault charges.

He was accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old student when he worked at the Presbyterian Children's Village. He was arrested earlier this year.

Hopkins' attorney says the teen wouldn't answer any questions during the trial. The judge granted a request for an acquittal and charges were dismissed.

The District Attorney's Office doesn't plan to re-try him.
