More Severe Weather Sunday

Normal 0 More severe weather is expected today across the same areas that had severe weather Saturday night.

Another round of severe storms is moving through the counties west of Philadelphia this afternoon and evening.  A tornado warning has already been issued for one storm in western Lancaster county.  A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for Lancaster and Chester county in PA plus New Castle and Kent county in Delaware.

These storms will continue to move east but the closer they get to Philadelphia, the less likely they are to be severe. Still an isolated strong storm is possible across all of Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware and South Jersey.

The storms will contain very heavy rain that may cause street flooding, gusty damaging wind, and small hail.

Be prepared to take immediate shelter should it look like a storm is moving into your area.  They will be approaching from the west.
