A 79-year-old woman was stabbed Wednesday night in Philadelphia.
The woman was on the 3500 block of Grant Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. when she was attacked and stabbed once in the head, officials said. A suspect was apprehended by police, but no weapon has been recovered.
The woman was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital and is in stable condition.
