Second Suspect Arrested for Death of NJ Dad

The second suspect in the death of a 19-year-old Woodbine father surrendered to police on Sunday.

Andre Gross, 27, of Millville, NJ turned himself in at the New Jersey State Police Bridgeton Station at 1 p.m.

Both Gross and Boris Curwin, 19, also of Millville, are accused of murdering Khalil Wallace of Woodbine.

Both men are charged with murder, kidnapping and other related offenses.

The body of Khalil Wallace was found on Thursday in a Cumberland County lake.

Khalil Wallace

Wallace had been missing since September 20 when he was last seen climbing into a van in front of the Dollar General on Washington Avenue in Woodbine. The same van was found on fire in Southwest Philadelphia later that day.

On Thursday, police used fingerprints to identify a body found in a lake near Dragston Road in Downe Township as Wallace’s.

Wallace, a former Rowan University football, leaves behind an 9-month-old daughter.

Detectives say that Wallace had been arrested on drug charges before and that they aren't sure if his past had anything to do with his disappearance or his death.

Curwin turned himself in at the State Police Woodbine Station Friday night. He was processed and remanded to the Cape May County Jail in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.

Police say Gross will be remanded to the Cumberland County Jail also in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
