A bus, carrying students from Pennridge High School, was leaving Dorney Park when it was involved in an accident on the ramp to Interstate 78 from Hamilton Boulevard in Lower Macungie Township.
One adult and 13 students were injured, according to the Pennridge High School website. None of those injuries are life-threatening.
The accident happened around 6:00 p.m. Police tell NBC10 the bus was involved in an accident with a car and then hit a pole.
There were about 30 people on the bus at the time of the accident, according to Dr. Thomas Creeden, school principal.
The bus was being chartered through the Levy Bus Company.
The bus driver will be cited for failure to yield to oncoming traffic, according to police.
