SEPTA Train Strikes Disabled Cab on Tracks in Conshohocken

Service on SEPTA's Manayunk/Norristown Line resumed after it was suspended for several hours after a train struck a disabled taxi on the tracks in Montgomery County Wednesday morning.

The incident happened at Washington Street and Cherry Street in Conshohocken.

According to SEPTA officials, a train on the Manayunk/Norristown Line struck a taxi that was disabled on the tracks.

No one was in the cab.

SEPTA officials said there were 55 people on the train at the time of the crash. Two people suffered minor head injuries.

The train was en-route to Norristown.

Service on SEPTA's Manayunk/Norristown fully resumed about 8:45 a.m.
