Man Dies After Being Pulled Under SEPTA Bus

A man died from his injuries after he was pulled underneath a SEPTA bus in Philadelphia.

Police say the 71-year-old man was running to try and catch a SEPTA Route 15 bus at Belmont and Girard avenues at 2:30 p.m. Saturday when he got caught on the vehicle's rear tire. He was then pulled under the bus.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene by medics at 2:40 p.m. Officials have not yet revealed his identity.
