Robin Quivers Victim of South Jersey Hit-and-Run

Howard Stern's radio sidekick was struck in south Jersey, and the driver fled the scene, police say

An Ocean Township, N.J. man was ticketed after he struck a car driven by Howard Stern's sidekick Robin Quivers and then fled the scene, police say.

The accident with Quivers, a New York resident, happened at about 3:45 p.m. Sunday, reports the Press of Atlantic City.

Barnegat Township Police say the famous radio co-host was driving north on Route 9 in in their township Sunday when 50-year-old Robert Crockett hit her vehicle and took off, reports the Press of Atlantic City.

Witnesses to the accident provided police with Crockett’s license plate information and a description of his vehicle. The south Jersey man was driving with a Florida driver’s license in a car with South Carolina plates, police say.

Police found Crockett not long after and ticketed him for leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, reckless driving and operating an unregistered vehicle, reports the Press of Atlantic City.

Crockett told police that he lost control, struck Quiver's vehicle and fled.

No one was injured.
