Robbery Suspects Caught on Surveillance

Philadelphia Police release surveillance video of two men, wanted for robbery

The search is on for two suspects, wanted in multiple robberies in Southwest Philadelphia.

On February 13 at 7:39 p.m., police say the two suspects entered the Binton African American Restaurant on 6515 Elmwood Avenue, pointed a handgun at workers and threw a backpack, telling them to fill it up with money. The two suspects then ran out of the restaurant without taking anything.

About ten minutes later, the same two men ran into the Rivas Mini Market on 2600 S. 66th Street, and pointed a handgun at the cashier and demanded money. The victim gave the suspects an undetermined amount of cash and they ran off, police said.

Philadelphia police hope this surveillance video may help catch the suspects.
