Robbers Target Pizza Deliveryman: Police

New Castle County Police are investigating the alleged robbery of a Domino’s pizza deliveryman.

Police responded to a report of a robbery on Friday night at 11:22 p.m. at the Brandywine Woods Apartment Complex in New Castle.

A 31-year-old Domino’s employee told police that after making a delivery and walking back to his vehicle, two men approached him.

One man allegedly pointed a gun at the deliveryman and demanded money while the other man went through his pockets and took his car keys.

Police say the robber then went inside the deliveryman’s vehicle and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. The two robbers then fled on foot.

The deliveryman was unharmed during the incident.

Police describe the two suspects as black males between the ages of 18 and 24, both standing at 6-feet tall with thin builds.

The suspect who displayed the gun was allegedly wearing all black clothing while the second suspect was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt. Both men reportedly had their faces hidden.
