Robbers Target Bank, Attack Tellers

Delaware State Police are looking for two men who punched two tellers and robbed a bank in Newark.

Troopers say two masked men walked into the WSFS Bank on University Plaza about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. One was armed with a handgun.

The robbers demanded cash from two tellers. After getting the money, one of the suspects punched both tellers. The suspects then fled.

Troopers say some of the money taken from the bank was found on a ramp to Interstate 95, apparently abandoned after a dye pack exploded.

The tellers were treated at a local hospital.
