Road Rage Suspect Told “Kill Yourself;” He Did

"Shoot yourself" comments posted on road rage suspect's blog about dating

Dozens of comments on a blog John Yannarell wrote about his bad experiences with dating wished the alleged road rage gunman an uncomfortable time in prison. Other commenters directed him to kill himself. He did, sources say.

Yannarell killed himself at his Gilbertsville home Thursday after he didn’t show up to court that morning. He was found in his bedroom with a rifle next to him. The night before, his lawyer informed the man accused of shooting 31-year-old Elizabeth Cox in a road rage incident that the district attorney was  adding more charges for two additional road rage attacks.

In a blog entitled “Being single during mid-life; the trials and tribulations!” that Yanarell wrote on pitchyourbitchonline.com, people left angry comments beginning April 9 -- the day of the alleged Route 422 road rage shooting.

“Please Kill Yourself! You are a disgrace to the human race and deserve much worse than you will actually get,” one person with the screen name “Shooter” wrote. “Please go f--k yourself with a gun and pull the trigger.”

In the blog Yannarell wrote on Sept. 19, the 50-year-old alleged gunman describes himself as a “straight shooter” and rants about how hard it is to find a good woman to date at his age.

In the exclamation-point-ridden blog, he also talks about his two divorces and the tumultuous and sometimes violent relationship he had with his second wife.

But the majority of comments on his piece about dating and marriage woes were directed at his alleged actions on Route 422, not the blog.

“Hey John, after you make your bail of $50,000 or so, go to your boat and shoot yourself in the f---king head. Thank you and have a lovely evening,” another post reads.
