Michael Miller, 62, was reported missing from his home at the Washington Way apartment complex in Washington Township, NJ on November 19, 2012.
Before he was reported missing, Miller had not been seen or heard from in about two months and was two months behind in rent payments. His car was also still parked at the apartment complex and his cell phone was still inside his apartment unit.
Miller lived alone in the apartment as of September 2012 and previously shared the apartment with a son and a friend of his son.
On Friday, around 9:45 p.m., his remains were found by a person passing through a wooded area behind the apartment complex on Barnsboro Road.
Police say Millerβs remains were identified through jewelry and medical records. Results of an autopsy by the Gloucester County Medical examiner are pending.
