Car Crashes Into Delaware County Creek Bed

Crews rescue person from passenger side of car

Crews worked to rescue a person from a car that crashed into a dry creek bed on the Main Line Wednesday morning.

The car went off the road near Sawmill Road and Earles Lane in Radnor Township around 7:30 a.m.

As SkyForce10 hovered overhead a short time later you could see emergency responders working on the passenger side of the sedan, which came to rest in the creek bed. After a few minutes, crews pulled a person from the car and onto a stretcher.

One person was able to get out of the wrecked vehicle on his or her own, said county dispatchers.

There were no reports of serious injuries.

Both the Darby Creek and Saw Mill Run meander through the area.
