“Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe help to make the season bright,” Nat King Cole crooned in his holiday classic, "The Christmas Song."
If you agree with Nat, just over two weeks after Thanksgiving, Six Flags is making an attempt to break the Guinness World Record title for most couples kissing under the mistletoe so you can achieve that special pairing.
Six Flags is calling on all couples, ages 18 and older, to visit their parks on Dec. 10.
At 5 p.m. eastern time, couples will pucker-up at the same time as other couples in three different time zones. Registration for the event will begin at 3:30 p.m. eastern time and each couple will receive their own mistletoe.
Each couple must hold the kiss for 10 seconds to qualify for the record.
In addition to Six Flags Great Adventure, six other six flags parks are participating. Couples near Six Flags Over Georgia, Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags St. Louis, Six Flags Magic Mountain, and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom can help the amusement park break the record.
